Drogentäter dominieren den hohen Anstieg zwischen 1994 und 2013Ein Bericht aus dem Urban Institute
What’s driving federal prison growth? The federal prison population has grown by 750 percent since 1980, resulting in rapidly increasing incarceration expenditures and dangerous overcrowding. In response, Congress created the Charles Colson Task Force on Federal Corrections to examine trends in correctional growth and develop practical, data-driven policy responses. Today, the task force and the Urban Institute released a new data brief that explains how drug offenses are driving prison population growth more than any other crime.
